Paulson - the Other Humpty Dumpty

In other editorials, you’ve heard me mention freezing our bailout money. Bringing in a team of high powered economists who would initiate a stimulus plan that would do more than a little jump start here and there…

I mentioned repeatedly that Paulson, Pelosi, Dodd and Reid are not qualified to take control of our money or make wise decisions. Here is the proof of that statement!

Paulson (Treasury Secretary) has egg on his face once again. Our bail out money, now referred to as TARP was not used for the original purpose to buy out toxic assets. Paulsen said the money wasn’t earmarked for stimulating the economy, but for stabilizing the financial system.

That’s a hard pill to swallow, because nothing has been mentioned about oversight, government transparency or regulations. Americans must know the lending insititutions receiving our money, what rate of interest they are being charged and what occurs in the event of default.

Paulsen says he’s working on programs to assist homeowners by avoiding more foreclosures. It appears that once again Democrats played “Poker” behind our backs and the middleclass will be the ones to take the hit.

There is still some TARP money in the kitty – contact your federal representatives and request a freeze on our money until a team of qualified economists are hired.

When everything is over but the shouting – the Democrats will point 10 fingers at the Republicans and blame them for misusing the “bail out” money.

Here’s two sites to check out if you have any doubts about misuse of your money. Homeowners and the middleclass are last on the list to receive help.

Decline of Morality

Could the real problems and confusion exisitng in our country go back many, many moons, in fact before you were born?  A grandmother discusses the moral erosion in America starting back in the  'baby boomer" era.

Together let’s investigate the social changes that parents, grandparents and caregivers have experienced first-hand.  This “new era” started many, many years ago and the changes were subtle at first and seemingly rather insignificant. So don’t surmise that our younger generation caused the decline of human worth and values.

But, the sad fact is our young people will be the ones who clean up our mess, if we don’t step forward and help.  Take a walk with me back to the time that our government was a respected authority – they were supportive and proud of their nation under, “God.”

Our leaders prayed together and didn’t hide in the closet fearing that public prayer would offend someone.  This was a time when morality and spirituality was the adhesive that kept our country strong.

Child abuse, teen pregnancy and drugs were a rarity and marriage was a sacred institution. Divorce wasn’t condoned; in fact it wasn’t a viable alternative.

Mothers held a most honorable position in the family – they didn’t drink, curse or play around.  Children respected, loved and cherished their mothers, because they were great role models and the glue that held family units together.

Fathers were dependable, hardworking men, loyal to their employer and the shepherds who watched over their flock.  Yes, fathers were qualified to be the head of the household;  they were an accountable, honorable group of men, who accepted their role of husband and father with pride.

Fathers and mothers instilled human values in their children that would help them succeed as young mature adults.  Children had parameters along with love, mentoring and discipline;  they learned to respect themselves and others.   At this time parenthood was touted as the “in thing.”   So what happened to change parenthood so drastically?

First, the baby boomers arrived on the scene in the early 40’s – they were the groovers and movers who defied reality, morality and spirituality.   It was like letting a bunch of kittens make a sand box out of the flowerbed;  the boomers played around until all the sand and dirt was gone.

They were the dreamers, schemers and the ones who fantasized about life in general.   I was one of those boomers, so this isn’t here-say or conjecture about what was happening during that period of time.

We flew by the seat of our pants without short or long-term goals.  Our generation was somewhat like a fairytale without a happy ending.  We flatly refused to conform to the code of morals and ethics that had sustained our Nation for years;  we jumped on the express to nowhere and morals took a big hit and so did our kids.

This was about the time that some of our children started suffering from that complex pain mentioned in earlier chapters.  Along with the boomers, came the birth of a new child psychology, which advocated allowing children to be free (whatever that means.)

This new child philosophy changed parenthood and in my mind was the beginning or birth of “role reversal” between parent and child, which we’ll visit at a later time.  So for the next several generations the “good parent and good child syndrome” plodded along with a few raving reviews from the meddlers and peddlers.

The ironic thing about this era is this – Dr. Spock changed his mind years later and decided that parents were naturally equipped to mentor, discipline and raise their children without meddling fingers and all the sophisticated psychological intervention.   For some strange reason very few parents heard this message from Spock – it was “too little, too late.”

So within a few short years America had received a double whammy created by the boomers and some off the wall child psychology.  Yep, we let our children run free with few restrictions – this was the time when our old standby “No” became a forbidden household word.

Now we go to the third drastic change, which was the women’s movement. This movement wasn’t toddling anymore;  it was running at top speed in search of power, fame and that bloody fortune, we keep hearing about.

Many women were forfeiting their awesome profession of “motherhood” in exchange for a few piddly dollars.  Here we’re talking about a trade off that definitely should have been addressed in a different manner.

No doubt, women needed more education and men needed to share the wealth so to speak, but something was wrong with this movement because our children took the hit and to this day are still suffering from this movement.

Our Nation in their usual fashion supported and encouraged women on their power trek;  we knew in our hearts it was the right thing to do.  But, in many respects this was a poor judgment call because, our concentration was on women and their rights with total disregard to our children’s rights!

Our children were discarded and kicked out of the equation or at least placed way down the list of priorities.  I certainly don’t have all of the answers; I’m just telling the story the way I see it!  In 2008, our young girls are still being groomed for the professional work force and egged on by what I refer to as the “equality struggle of the genders.”

At this time, the US Department of Education estimates that approximately 57% of college enrollees are female.  It seems Motherhood has been devaluated and is considered a somewhat antiquated profession that needs to be relegated to the ancient history shelf.

Brainwashed and spit out again – Motherhood is a “God” given gift and is still and will always be the ultimate profession.  My bet is the children who are young adults now that experienced 18 years under the vigilance of non-parental caregivers and the meddlers, while mom was out making a few bucks would give their right arm if mothers would resume their position as Mother, friend and role model once again.

Due to the weakening moral codes created by the boomers, modern psychology and the women’s movement, our Nation reeks with child abuse, teen pregnancies, addictions, murder and high school dropouts.

Marriage isn’t exactly considered a sacred institution anymore – it resembles a withered piece of fruit on a spindly old tree that falls apart if a storm or hard wind hits it.

Many just pass on marriage and opt for shacking up together. “Shacking Up” eliminates the moral and spiritual pressures, but once again the children are the ones who suffer.  Shacking up is somewhat like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole – nothing about this relationship has a good fit and sooner or later time seems to take its toll and the children take the hit.

Divorce in 2008 is a household name, as common and casual as taking a walk in the park. Like the latest fashions – our attitude is “tired of the old clothes, just trade them in for some new.”  But,what about the children?

After studying some divorce statistics in the US, it has been discovered that there are two common factors; (1) Infidelity, and (2) family stress account for approximately 50% of our divorces.

Several studies suggest that women are usually the ones to initiate divorce proceedings.  Why should that be a surprised, we’re the heavy weights at the Presidential Polls in 2008!   Another fairly new fad is single mothers (by choice); they select a sperm donor or choose a life of cohabitation and this is perceived to be the norm.

Not in by book, these groups of women have tossed morality out the window and as we speak are participating in a dangerous and lonely game.   Than again, I’m just an ole fashioned grandmother!   This lifestyle actually places many women in a state of limbo, swaying back and forth between mother hood and their profession, without a place to call home.

These women are trying to fit into a pair of parental shoes that will probably result in two things: (1) Non parental caregivers will raise their child, and (2) The child born in this unatural environment will have many challenges in their young adulthood.

Many mothers will some day have to take a long hard look at their precarious position in the family, because they do drink, curse and play around. Unfortunately, it’s the children who will have a lifetime of suffering, because these ladies couldn’t give up their promiscuous ways.

Fathers will have to revisit their lifestyles and once again resume the honorable position as head of the household.   Fathers must fight for their “rights” and become strong role models for their children and assume the awesome responsibility of parenthood.

Dads can’t sit back anymore and watch the rest of the crazy world go by – their children need them, now.   It’s sort of like Winston Churchill said many years ago, “You can always count on Americans to do the right thing – after they’ve tried everything else.”  It’s time to do the right thing for our children and our country.

It’s not about you, nor is it about me – it’s about our children. Let’s work together and leave our children a legacy to be proud of that will ring the bells of history and not be relegated to the ancient history shelf as a “flop.”

Pelosi and Her Piggy

Pelosi used her normal scare tactics and toted the “piggy” right into the brawl. She is one dangerous cat to have in our White House and like Mr. Obama her choice of friends is detestable. Nancy has ramrodded this “bail out” bill through like a bulldozer in a china shop. America needs to know that she’s the problem, not the solution!

There are some honest government representatives who have been fighting for us! Americans need to have their voice heard and the first line of business should be freezing the remaining money from the “bail out.”

Once that is done, we should aggressively concentrate on removing Pelosi, Frank, Dodd and Reid from their nests in our White House.

Here’s what we do know about the “bail out” monies at this time. Over 2 trillion of our money has been handed out by Pelosi and gang. In order to get her bill passed, Pelosi blatantly allowed many millions in piggy projects to be slipped into the bill.  According to many economists and government representatives, we need to have experts (not Pelosi and gang) in charge of the “bail out” money.

The good news is this - many of our government representatives are ready and willing to place country first and help us work through the dilemma. Here are a few man and women who place country first and totally disagree with Nancy and friends.

United States Senator – Jim Dement     Jim is available to represent us at this time and we certainly need a voice at the White House.

BobGeiger.com: statements of Democrats opposing the “bail out.”

Check out Bloomberg.com: worldwide

If you think our government is honest, just go to this site and read an article about House Appropriations Committee Chairman, David Obey. Obey makes no bones about keeping the “bail out” negotiations away from the public sector; he’s not God and certainly does not have the right to make this decision. He fits the description of sneaky, irresponsible and a man with his own axe to grind.

Below you will find a list of Democrats who aren’t happy with the “bail out” – take a few minutes time to email them. Ask them for assistance and support; we need to know where the money is going, why and who is doing the oversight and regulations.

We deserve a daily report!  Americans, it’s time to get tough – don’t sink back in the confines of complacency and trust. This isn’t a good time to turn our heads or shrug our shoulders.

Here are some Democrats who will support Americans and listen to our calls or emails. Go to: Complete Email Addresses for Senators, Congress and governors.

Ron Wyden (D-O), Jon Tester (D-MT), Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Tim Johnson (D-SD)

Don’t forget to email: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi     sf.nancy@mail.house.gov
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid    senator_reid@reid.senate.gov
President George W. Bush   comments@whitehouse.gov

We have unqualified people handling and hiding our money. Not one of us would agree with those ridiculous earmarks that were slipped into the “bail out” bill. It’s our money, our dime and we need to get everyone’s attention in the White House.

Both Republicans and Democrats should hide their head in shame, because they’ve acted once again irresponsibly and selfishly placing our country at risk. This is more than a little leak in the dam and a band aid is not a fix or solution. We need accountability and transparency in our government at this time – they need to earn our respect and trust.

“May God Bless America.”

Obama and Wright - They're Back

Traveling back in time to 1995, we hear Mr. Obama raving over his pastor Mr. Wright followed with a statement that’s rather hard to believe or stomach. Obama said Mr. Wright was a wonderful man and the best that the black church had to offer.

Where does that leave all of the awesome black ministers who don’t damn America, don’t condone killing babies in the third trimester, nor do they condone socialism?

The next few years were blissfully quiet and nice for Mr. Obama and Mr. Wright – Obama listened and Wright preached.   During these years the teacher shaped the student leading him down the wrong trail, but never the less leading him.

Mr. Obama’s defense for his pastor was rather feeble when saying he couldn’t disown his preacher friend anymore than he could disown his white grandmother, who raised him.   So what we have here is a racial slur in reverse comparing black to white or something like that…

In March 2008, Barack Obama was placed on the hot seat by the news media and Obama found it necessary to disown his mentor, counselor and pastor of 20 years; Obama  stated that he vehemently disagrees and condemns Reverend Wright’s statements about God _ _ _ _   America.

This is a separation between two men that would appear to be final and America was proud of Obama for being so forthright, honest and sincere. But Wright didn’t go away and Mr. Obama was faced with a real dilemma. Trinity United Church was busy correcting their black value system online, hoping that would put their members back in good standing.

Mr. Obama in his attorney two step said 20 years under the same roof with Reverend Wright was merely a coincidence.   In other words, he attended the Trinity United Church but didn’t pay any attention to the racial slurs of Reverend Wright or his message of hate about Americans.    Hard to believe that Reverend Wright and Mr. Obama were two strangers just meeting in the dark occasionally for a little chit chat.

Americans were a little confused about the Obama/Wright association, but within a few weeks the Presidential superstar was off and running again minus Mr. Wright. So the hat “guilty by association” is one that Obama refused to own…

Obama pleaded his relationship with Reverend Wright as poor judgment on his part and vowed to change Churches ASAP. One must question a man who is preparing to lead our country about his character and reputation for he’s been known to have tea parties with terrorists and chit chats behind closed doors with foreign countries. A man who lacks good judgment probably isn’t what America needs as a leader.

Fast forward to November 2008, approximately eight months have passed since Obama disowned Reverend Wright and now Obama is thumbing his nose at America and considering using Wright to offer his swearing in invocation on January 20, 2009. Obama says this will begin the healing process of the racial differences in America.

Obama’s new Chief of Staff ( Rahm Emmanuel) offers a blunt message that the divorce between Wright/Obama has been called off and the two honey mooners are holding hands once again.

Rahm Emmanuel shoots us a newsflash stating this is “an indication of how President-elect Obama will rule our country.  Sounds like we need to listen to the Chief of Staff, “when in Rome do as the Romans do.”

Lets dissect this news, Obama disowned and denounced Reverend Wright in March 2008. David Axelrod served as the hatchet man for Obama; he told Wright to get lost until November 5th, 2008.

My guess is David Axelrod talked Wright into an 8 month paid leave of absence, if he would hide in a closet and keep his mouth shut until November 5th 2009. Like the good little boy, he’s not, Wright took his jammies, lolly pop and stowed away as asked.

So there you have it folks, Obama and Wright are back! “May God Bless America.”

Our Money - Their Mistake

Americans have met “the battle of the bulge” and it isn't any fun!  The “fat cats” in Washington just love to play monopoly with our tax dollars and we’re the ones who end up in jail without a free card.

Our government remains in the same robotic mode of same ole, same ole! We are shaking in our shoes and totally confused; should we remove what’s left of our savings and bury our money in the back yard or should we change our portfolio before Washington makes another blunder?

Don Young (R – from Alaska) voted “NO” on the bailout bill calling it a mere slippery slope to Socialism. Keep your eye on Don, he’s the kind of man we need leading our country. Here’s another Maverick who isn’t afraid to stand toe to toe with either party.

Chuck Norris reminded us that the House of Representatives and Senate don’t have a clue what’s in the 500 page bailout bill and mentions that Republicans and Democrats fell for the bull - - - -  of the bad boys and girls, Pelosi, Paulsen, Frank and Dodd.

Let’s remember McCain and Obama gave the bill a big “Yes” as they merrily went on their way campaigning.  Neither one objected loudly or with any real sincerity!

In order to get this bill passed by the majority, Pelosi and gang tossed more than their share of carrots into the bill. Here’s but a few of the earmarks that are snuggled deep within the confines of this bill: (1) $192 million in tax breaks for rum producers in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, $128 million in tax breaks for the manufacturers of car-racing tracks, $148 million in tax breaks for wool-producing companies.and these almighty carrots just keep growing.

They just don’t get it – we want a government without their hands in the “Piggy Bank.” Government isn’t changing, even though they’ve jeopardize our country and our families! Pelosi remains the same stoic Speaker of the House and every time she dips in our till – she has someone else to blame.

Now get this Nancy and Reid appointed an Oversight Panel to report to them, the panel will deliver a report January 20th, 2009 after she’s spent all of our bail out money.  Technically, she’s covering her - - - so neither Republicans or Democrats can accuse her of negligence.

Look at the free market and ask yourself why the taxpayers’ were voted responsible for the bailout Freddie and Fannie. Why are we the ones to pick up the slack for a government that has acted irresponsibly; no one seems to be held accountable at this time!?   It’s like letting a bunch of lions loose at a smorgasbord – they come with a ravenous appetite and just keep gorging and gorging.

Jay Leno as usual gives us a dose of truth embellished by his uncanny wit; when talking about the bail out, he said our economic crisis has now affected our children. Jay said,  “Like, when kids play monopoly, the dumbest kid can be the banker.” He expresses his concern about our predicament via a dash of humor. Jay Leno, New York Times, September 30, 2008, 12:08 pm.

Here’s several sites that offer up to the minute news on the bailout discussing the repercussions and hardships placed on Americans. The first one is http://loudobbs.tv.cnn.com/   Lou Dobs, although from CNN speaks honestly about the lack of oversight by our government and Paulson (Treasury Secretary.)

Lou doesn’t waste words, nor will he take up much of your time; he’s a bottom line man and irate that two trillion dollars of our bail out money has been disbursed without proper supervision or restrictions.

Another informative man is Brit Hume | Special Report - FOXNews.com Brits has the highest rated political program on cable TV. Brit doesn’t pull any punches and brings up all sides of the story.

FOX is yet another that site keeps up to date and unlike many news media, FOX tries to present all of the facts.  The World Newser: November 2008 or try FOX.com.

The latest rumors around town whisper that several trillion dollars of our money has disappeared without any real oversight or restrictions. Consequently some of the lending institutions are doing a little personal investing with our money and have plumb forgotten that we, the consumer are sitting here with legs crossed waiting for some credit lines to be freed up.

“May God Bless America.” If you’re mad – call or email your government representatives. Get your voice back, America; it’s your money and your dime so have your say!

Obama and Pelosi Gods

Obama and Pelosi  have a couple of things in common – neither one likes to be questioned and their uncanny ability to "change" keeps a magician confused.   Pelosi is sitting like the “Queen Bee” doling out our bail out money and has the guts to say she just might need more, but Lord forbid if taxpayers want a few questions answered about our money.  Obama refuses to adhere to rules on campaign contributions and the scuttlebutt is FEC will tuck tail between their legs and slink away without finishing an audit. He refuses to divulge his past and threatens the media that want to discuss his ability to lead.

Speaking of changing your mind, Pelosi has changed her mind a little on drilling, but that‘s just to appease the public. She’s hell bent on seeing that gas, oil and fuel will skyrocket in price, just check out the lady that’s backing trade and cap legislation – little Miss Nancy.   She and her greenhouse buddies, are by the way laughing all the way to the bank and will do their best to stop offshore drilling.

Obama’s many changes must be close to making a record in the World Book Of Guinness, he’s changed his mind on drilling, tax breaks, tax increases, foreign policy, economic crises and most recently he’s announced that he will veto Bush laws on stem cells and anything else he can get his grubby hands on...   Mr. Obama and liberalist friends need to rethink the “stem Cell” subject, our brilliant scientists can and will find other ways to fight Alzheimer. Could this be the reason he’s unable to call a baby a baby in the third trimester of pregnancy?

Obama and Pelosi promise us the world – America is being brainwashed on the “Green” problem, but Obama is going to reach for his magician’s hat and use another 150 billion to create green jobs.   Next he wants billions of dollars to jump start the economy and the list keeps going and going.   The question keeps arising and no one answer us; where is all of this money coming from??? While Obama is making plans to get back into our pockets for more money– Nancy is busy in the White House playing Doctor.

Nancy Pelosi is patting “AIG” on the fanny and tossing them another big marshmallow and at the same time she’s getting ready to spend more “bail out” money to help Detroit. When does accountability come into practice? She hasn’t really informed us about “Freddie & Fannie,” but what we don’t know want hurt us Nancy, or will it?

Maybe before – Obama and the triplets spend all of our money, we should be allowed to speak. No one informs Americans before the fact - it’s all a done deal better known as after the fact.

The Democrats have about as much business playing around with our money as the Lobbyists and special interest groups – they’ve had their fun, misused our money, set up grants via Obama and friends that are draining our resources.   When over 300 economists in our United States tell Washington that the “Bail Out” is not the answer, we probably should be listening to them.

First things first, Mr. Obama – down size the government, cut out the earmarks, get control of the runaway lobbyists and special interest groups and make your Democrat friends accountable for their financial blunders. In other words, prosecute, put them behind bars and quit letting them control you. As Chuck Norris said, “Mr. Obama, you work for us now.”

Anyway you look at it – Nancy and friends need to go; those who are truly not placing their country first needs to exit immediately. By the way, you did know Nancy is going to try to talk us into more “bail out” money in the near future and you, Mr. Obama want extra money from us to jumpstart the economy.

Nancy wants more because her friends weren’t exactly held accountable during her reign as house speaker.   You want more money, because you don’t have a clue how to lead or protect our country at this time.

In case, you haven’t heard she’s making a move to spend more or our “bail out” money and President Bush is finally stepping up to the bat – go Bush, talk with us, get qualified economists in there to help us out.

Do something with this runaway Democratic train – I shudder to think what America is in for when Obama takes over as President!    Mr. Obama has exactly two solutions for handling his Presidency and I’m betting he’ll jump even further left when he gains control.

There are two choices for him at this time; (1) Restore America’s faith in their government, or (2) Take a dive with your many liberal friends. You can’t have it both ways – maybe you should make one more change and consider the “Center of the Road,” Mr. Obama.

Yep, I got on my soapbox today, because everything is falling in place just like many of us thought it would. Wright, Ayers and other Obama friends are crawling out of the cracks; Pelosi is going to spend all of the “Bail Out” money the wrong way.

AIG isn’t going to recover, because those running AIG aren’t and haven’t been accountable.  Several months down the road, the news media will be talking of a pending depression, all because the Democrats are on a power trip!

Obama is getting off the hook once again on his citizenship status, his past record, his campaign funds and I believe our Mr. Wright might be delivering his swearing in invocation on January 20th. Obama says this will be the beginning of healing the racial divide, whoa, I thought Obama was ashamed of his Reverend Wright and distancing himself from that kind of person filled with so much hate for America.

What Change is Mr. Obama Talking About Now?

Mr. Obama, one question keeps raising its ugly head – what is this wonderful “change” that you kept mentioning in your campaign? Your famous last words during your acceptance speech, is finally America is ready to move forward with change – sounds good Mr. Obama.

How do Americans know which of your many changes is the final change that we’ll be able to live with, in the future?   Now ye ole friend Reverend Wright is surfacing and he like Michelle are finally acknowledging pride in our United States. Why do people like Wright and Michelle even bother hanging around if we’ve been such an embarrassment to them?   Michelle seems to have been living the good life in a 4.2 million dollar home and a fairly recent promotion – so what did we do to upset Michelle?

Mr. Obama, you’ve tried to give people the impression that this is a race thing and it’s not – it’s about character, reputation, track record, because it really doesn’t matter if you’re red, black, white or blue. America needs a man or woman who can bravely stand toe to toe with the Democrats and Republicans and restore our Nation to a strong foundation.

What is the scoop with Reverend Wright – for years you frequented Trinity and listened to Reverend Wright. Then you started sidestepping the Wright issue; you said when the children were young it was impossible to attend Church regularly.

Shortly after that you claimed to frequent Mr. Wright’s Church, stating that he was a dear friend.  When the news media put a little pressure on you and the burner got hot, you decided that Wright was no longer a friend and he was spewing horrible things from his mouth that you could not tolerate.

Now, headlines say Reverend Jeremiah Wright will be doing the honors at your inauguration and you have the guts to say this will start to mend the racial problems. Oops, me thinks race and foreign monies are what won you the position of President January 2009. If there is a racial problem, you’re the one to blame – not Americans. Haven’t you or your gang noticed recently that there are many, many great African Americans in our country?

Race isn’t what Americans were questioning – it was your association with Reverend Wright (one black man) and with Ayers and other friends (mostly Caucasians.) So let’s get off the race kick, Mr. Obama – me thinks you doth protest too much.

Our problem with you is really about character and reputation – not being privy to either one; many Americans aren’t exactly comfortable with your leadership abilities! Here are but a few of our concerns at this time.

(1)    It’s a well known fact that approximately 40% of the US citizens don’t pay taxes at this time, so how in the world do you propose to give 95% a tax break, (2) Why did you pick Joe Biden as VP (he certainly has a tainted reputation and doesn’t appear to be the most honest person in the world, (3) Where do you expect to get all of these billions you’ve been talking about to jumpstart our economy – don’t tell me by taxing the corporate gang and business over 200,000 or is it 250,000, (4) What do you really know about foreign policy and how to protect our country? Tea parties aren’t an appropriate answer or response!

So you see, we’re more than a little bit tense about you leading our country, because during all of your campaign speeches you have changed your mind so many times in order to win the election – none of us know who you really are or what your plans are for our country, families and children.

Fox Presents Sarah Palin

She’s Here to Stay

Folks, Sarah Palin is here to stay – you liberal boys and girls can’t keep a good lady down. She’s so real - it literally makes you break out in a cold sweat, doesn’t it? You’re running out of rocks and she’s like the little energizer bunny. She just keeps going and going!

Her country, kids and husband are her inspiration and her mentor is “God.” Unlike you, she doesn’t chase after false Gods like “materialism” and “self.” Her agenda is a wide open book – working to make life better for her fellow Americans and America.

Sarah’s not one of the Elite and has never yearned or dreamed of being an “insider.” She doesn’t have an axe to grind and feels that all Americans can find a common ground, if they are willing to work together for a common cause.

She lives one day at a time hoping she won’t miss the next door as it is opened for her to enter. Life in Alaska is good for Sarah and she’s proud to be an Alaskan and citizen of the United States.  Alaskans, both Repulicans and Democrats love Sarah!

As governor of Alaska, she still sees the potential to work with the new President and she’ll be the first to reach across the table to offer a helping hand. Sarah is still pumped up about drilling on the vast shores of the Alaskan border and feels Alaska has the natural resources that will bolster our weakened Nation and open up jobs for thousands of Americans.

Sarah has been roughed up or rather beaten up by the Liberal news media and some of the notorious journalists that couldn’t endure the shock waves when Senator McCain announced her as his VP candidate.

They’ve had their fun and elected our next President, but that doesn’t seem to bother Sarah; she said Americans had the right to vote as they saw fit and 2008 just wasn’t the right time for the two mavericks.

So to all of you who have made fun of her talk, walk, dress and family – what goes around eventually seems to come around, so be sure you’re there when your day arrives!

Thanks to Greta Van Susteren at Fox, America not only got one more glimpse of Sarah – they were invited into her home for some moose stew and a fireside chat. Greta, you’re just flat made of good stuff – As Always, Annie

What We Don't Know Will Hurt Us

Listening this morning to FOX, CNN and NEWSMAX certainly drove home the fact that America has been placed in the hands of a novice person, without a track record. It occurred to me at this same time that not one of us are privy to what goes on behind closed doors as President Bush and Mr. Obama meet.

The Liberal News Media will downplay Mr. Obama’s responsibilities at this time – they jump on their old outdated worn out gibberish by blaming the Bush Presidency for the recession, high oil prices, the war in Iraq and auto industries downfall.

Think first about the things we really don’t know on Monday, November 10, 2008. Let’s discuss the important political maneuvers that are happening in front of our eyes.

What could President Bush and Mr. Obama be discussing as we speak? My guess is Mr. Obama is trying to pass the buck without getting his butt in a crack – same as he did in the Senate with the no votes and present.  Silence and indecision are two of his quirks that he uses to obtain a “get out of jail free” card.

Obama talks a good talk, but the walk isn’t quite as cocky as it was during his Presidential campaign.  His first speech to us was after the election was a bunch of rhetoric once again, without meaning –he’s worried about his kid’s new dog being hypoallergenic.  There are 57 plus million people in America who don’t really think a dog for the kids is a priority at this time!

Obama mentioned his not so famous “stimulus package” that we kept questioning –we don’t know where the money is coming from for this package, but we’d like to be the first to know.

Mr. Obama keeps saying he’s going to help the middleclass by raising taxes on the investors and medium size businesses. Why does Mr. Obama think raising taxes will help us in anyway?

What are Pelosi, Frank, Dodd and Reid doing with our “Bail Out” money and why are they hinting that they need more money from Americans?

Why did Mr. Obama meet behind closed doors in Iraq begging them to wait until he’s inaugurated?

Why didn’t FEC put a freeze on his campaign money until they completed their investigation?

Why didn’t the Democrats vet Mr.Obama – we don’t know the answer, but we are starting to realize the importance of vetting a Presidential candidate.

Why did CNN and their liberal buddies refuse to disclose the real information about their candidate’s past, his track record in the Illinois Senate or US Senate and his questionable radical friends? We don’t know, but money has probably been flying under the table at a fast rate of speed.

None of us know why the housing market went down the tubes and is still declining daily. Many of us realize that the Democrats led us literally by the hand into this economic crisis. We’re starting to get a vision of who caused this housing problem.

Little do we know about the “Bail Out” monies – who has been the recipients, why were they the chosen ones and why is their still a freeze on consumer’s credit?

Is the “Bail Out” an answer or a band aid? Should we help the auto industry at this time – they have known for a jillion years that alternate fuel, better gas mileage and controlling their inventories, cash flow and investments is crucial to the success of all businesses in a high tech society.

Four years of not knowing where we’re headed, how we’re going to get there and what to expect when we arrive isn’t exactly my idea of security – it’s more like a fast game of Russian roulette and I didn’t raise my hand as a player.

Would I have written this editorial if Senator McCain was taking over the helm? You bet, because we’ve had way too many years of big government, crooks and shysters – it’s time for Americans to regain their voice.

At least, Senator McCain has an awesome track record is more than knowledgeable in foreign affairs and would be brave enough to ruthlessly downsize the government, get rid of earmarks, control the special interest groups and the Supreme Court.

What’s that about 57 states and one or two left to go – excuse me Mr. Obama but you’re shirt tail is showing. Maybe you were born in Kenya!

The Middleclass Will Take the Hit

Like a little boy in a candy store – Mr. Obama wants a stimulus package for the auto industries, wants the Treasury Department to take the $ 700 billion dollar “bail out” monies to stabilize the financial markets. In his first speech to America, he promises to address the credit crisis, get his stimulus plan underway, help the middleclass and restore the auto industry.

This isn’t a candy store Mr. Obama – the sign on the government window says, “fire sale,” “going out of business” and most of all “Help.” 350 economists have been trying to tell Washington that the “bail out” is not the best solution, that the people doling out our money don’t have a clue how to do it!

But, you’re already delegating the Treasury Department to move forward without rhyme or reason – possibly your strategy here is a parallel to your “no vote” record in the Senate. If you don’t get your hands tainted; you can’t be held responsible for any mistakes and as you know there will be mistakes.

Yep,you’re hot to trot to remove the tax cuts for small businesses and investors – in fact you intend to repeal the Bush tax cuts set to expire in 2010.

Although, your economic advisers have insisted that you would not repeal Bush tax cuts; only 5 days not yet in office and you’ve been forging ahead promising to repeal the cuts and using that money your health insurance plan. Mr. Obama, what don’t you understand about Reganomics?

America, listen to what he’s saying and he isn’t President of the US yet; once these businesses and investors are taxed at a higher rate, we are the ones that take the hit.

Two things will happen: (1) Investors will withdraw their money before he takes office stressing our all ready weakened economy, and (2) Business taxed will immediately raise the price of their products, goods or services (which is the trickle down affect) meaning we will pay the piper.

What does Mr. Obama and friends not understand about our present economic problem at this time – the Democrats are the ones to put the dagger in and twist it and rapidly brought us to our knees in less than two years.

350 economists can’t be wrong about the dangers of this stimulus plan or “bail out!”  We’re truly in double trouble, Pelosi, Frank, Dodd & Reid are messing around with our “Bail Out” money and at the same time Obama is raising taxes saying the tax increase will fund his health program.

There must be some group or groups of people with enough clout to stop our runaway government. The government leaders must be held accountable for their major blunders the last two years; Pelosi, Frank, Dodd and Reid need to be replaced immediately.

Now we’ve placed our country in the hands of a man without a past, no track record as a leader and absolutely no experience in foreign affairs. The only conclusion that can be drawn from the mess we’re in is this – the Presidential campaign was all about race!

How sad to say everything’s okay now, because America has finally elected an African American President – does this mean racism has been put to sleep.   Mr. Obama played the “race card” and now he’s run plumb out of cards.

One Nation

Here's a chapter out of my little book that discusses the news media, special interest groups and our government.  Ronald Reagan once said, "'If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.'

We didn't arrive here yesterday, nor was it just the past 8 years that placed our Nation on a shaky foundation - it has been a slow erosion for many, many years caused by the meddlers (special interest groups & lobbyists), the peddlers (news media) and the gov that has created a shaky economy.

We've plodded through the many changes over the past 60 plus years and after pointing fingers at the meddlers, peddlers and gov – it’s time to make the necessary changes to restore the once strong foundation.

I only included meddlers, peddlers & gov because they are a part of our history in the USA.  They have been responsible for shaping much of our Nation!  Do I have a bunch of answers, cures or band aids to offer parents, grandparents and concerned citizens?

Not really, but looking back in history it is apparent that our ancestors came from all walks of life and yet they unanimously agreed on two thins: (1) The solid foundation for America must be “One Nation Under God, and (2) Liberty and justice for all would be the cement that would keep the United States alive and well.

As we look back over the past 60 plus years, it’s important to realize that nothing was really broken and we didn’t ask anyone to fix it, but “they” did.  So now we’re faced with a weak government, too many special interest groups with their fingers in our pot, and once again parents are being controlled – no in control.

Parents and grandparents have been left with a mess, that’s for sure and we have to assume some responsibility for creating the mess.  Each one of us as individuals can make the conscious decision that we want our country back on it’s once strong foundation – with “God” guiding us all things are possible.

Yep, we can even move mountains!  “Decisions” should be determined by what is in the best interest for families and children.  Our children should always be our priority and we need prayer in the schools, the Ten Commandments visible for all (they’re really a roadmap for men, women and children.)

Remember, we’re not going to make anyone pray, nor will they be forced to read the Ten Commandments, but the flipside is this - prayer, the Ten Commandments and One Nation Under God is the legacy left to us by a forefathers.

No man, woman or child has a right to tamper with this legacy!  Discipline must be returned to parents, schools and all of our society.  Immorality should be addressed as a Nation and our leaders must be honest, men and women who realize that it’s not about them, but about our children and country…

“They” can continue tooting the same old horn and playing the same old tune about keeping religion and politics separate. So keep them separate, but don’t meddle with our beautiful America that thrived and prospered for years as “One Nation Under God.”

It’s a tried and true concept that works for all – and frankly for those who don’t like the concept, it’s probably time for them to take a hike, go out to sea or find another country.

We need to take care of our troops, their families and let them know daily how proud we are of them and their patriotism. You better believe they’re in Iraq because they want us to be safe!

These are the young men and women who can and will help us restore our country; they will give others outside of our country a chance to experience a better life.

In closing, some very dangerous red flags are showing their evil eyes in our Nation.  Self-centered, prideful, pleasure seeking and materialistic nation become divided and eventually crumble.  Pride goes before destruction and haughtiness before a fall. Proverbs 16:18

History shows that nations without codes of conduct or real human values become extinct.  The Roman Empire, the Soviet Union and other Nations fell due to a decline in morals, values and a corrupt group of leaders kindled by inflation. The wealthy citizens of Rome were prideful, materialistic and pretty much what I call pleasure seekers!

Here is a letter to ponder from Charles Carroll to James McHenry, written around November 4th, 1800. What this letter discusses isn’t news, but its reliable information you can take to the bank.

Without morals a republic cannot subsist any length of time; they therefore who are decrying the Christian religion whose morality is so sublime and pure…are undermining the solid foundation of morals, the best security for the duration of free governments.” Bernard C. Steiner, “The Life and Correspondence of James McHenry,” (Cleveland: The Burrows Brothers, 1907). P.475 “God Bless Each and Everyone”    http://www.youranie.com

As Always, Annie

PS   It’s time America to gets back to the basics of love and restore our country as “One Nation Under God With Liberty and Justice for All."  It really boils down to the hard raw basics – it’s not about you and it darn sure isn’t about me;  it’s about our children and their children.

No Resume - No Vetting - No Good

Resume is a document that describes an applicant’s experience and skills along with an educational background.  A person’s background or past is crucial – you don’t hire a rapist or ex con to run a reputable business.    Resumes are very important tools for employee and employers.

Those who work for us in the government are our employees – we’re supposed to be their employer. We (Americans) not only deserve, but need to know all pertinent information regarding our federal representatives.   We must know the character, reputation and background of those representing us!

Like I’ve mentioned many times during the presidential campaign, if only Hillary Clinton would step forward and speak to all of America and by golly she did just minutes after Obama won the election. Hillary realizes from past experience with this man that our country needs more than a smooth talking lawyer – we need real leadership.   Why didn’t the Democratic Camp vet this man or even look at a resume or CV.

When a large company like Chase, Kodak, Koch Industries or Ernst and Young hire a COO or CEO for their company; the first thing required is a cover letter including a resume. Why a resume, because that gives them some vital facts about this person.

After they choose several candidates for this position, they have several more face to face interviews.  Do you think any reputable well established company would hire a leader without a background check, an employment history or a proven track record – absolutely not?

The resume gives a snap shot of this person that tells them about the applicant’s work history showing former employment (who they’ve worked for) – how long they were employed with the company, salaries and lists accomplishments and position held while in the employment of the company.

Duties – this is very important and a good resume includes in detail thie person’s responsibilities and capabilities.  It will mention the number of employees under their supervision and describes their abilities as a supervisor or executive manager. It includes any extra schooling, achievements and promotions received and defines their leadership qualifications. So what happened to Mr. Obama’s resume – why has he insisted on hiding it from us?

He forgot his resume – a man without a past, no employment history and consequently nothing to verify his leadership ability, his experience in foreign affairs.   His speeches are political rhetoric, although eloquent and flowery promising us everything, but the moon.

Here’s an example of his promises that remain without any substance; they’re just idle words. How many times were we told that 95% of us would receive a tax break or even a 1000 or 1200 dollar check? 40% plus Americans do not pay taxes!!!  He promises to tax the wealthy, only – America you’re in for a big shock if you think that’s a viable solution.

His 60 billion dollar economic stimulus plan – hey people did you just forget that we’ve already committed ourselves for the big 700 billion plus Bail Out.” Just where does anyone think the money for this economic revitalization will come from – did you just raise your hand or did you stick your foot in your mouth?  Unless some American’s have an “inside scoop” that no one else knows about, we’re in deep trouble.

Don’t buy into the tax the rich verb age that Mr. Obama is using. Tax the larger companies all you want to because they aren’t the ones who pay the tax increase – we do. Just go study Reagonomics and you’ll understand why the last thing in the world we need at this time is to raise anyone’s taxes.

The investors don’t have to leave their money in the US – there are many, many other countries that would love their money.    When businesses are taxed, they just increase the cost of service or product, so guess who pays the piper?  Stop our country from bleeding anymore – dig in your heels, yell, scream, get mad and then do something about it!

We need a freeze on our “Bail Out” money until they get the top world economists in as advisors – Pelosi, Frank, Reid and Dodd don’t have a clue what to do with our money! You can bet that before the New Year arrives, they will spend every dime!   Read what the top economists say about the misuse of our “Bail Out” money.

Contact CNN, FOX, ABC, NBC and all other news stations – insist that they help us get Obama’s resume. We must know where he’s been the past 20 years, who he’s worked for and where all our money from his many government grants went – it’s my believe that it went to many fake organizations and then was funneled on down to Acorn, The Weathermen and other radical organizations.  Hope I’m wrong, but logic says that I’m not…

Don’t settle for anymore Obama sidesteps – he already is in it up to his elbows because he wants us to believe he is just a next door neighbor of Rezko (wrong.) He sat with Wright his mentor and confidant for 20 years, but he didn’t listen to what Mr. Wright was saying (Wrong.) Sort of remembers serving on the Wood org. with Ayers (who’s kidding who?) Doesn’t remember what happened to his records in the Illinois Senate (thinks he may have thrown them away or shredded them.)  Didn’t have time to lead our country during his US Senate interim – that in itself should be your answer.

Just get online and see the fits he’s giving FEC – his campaign funds are so messed up, many millions came from outside our US and the FEC know that a lot of donations were from dummies like doodad and Mr. Goodwill etc..

Yes, we need to insist on the truth about his citizenship, his land deal with Rezko and his various associations with notorious radicals. It’s most important to get this started before Obama is sworn into office. As American citizens we have the “right to know” all of the above before we finish our final interview with Mr. Obama. Don’t even raise your hand and say there’s nothing we can do – what done can be and should be undone!

Please parents, grandparents and young people, stand up and let Washington hear your voice. Call your US government 1-800-333-4636; send an email to all the elected officials including your governor, President, Representatives, Senators and state legislatures.

Go to USA.gov for the email addresses. Shoot an email to this lady – she still has time to help us out of this mess:    clinton.senate.gov/contact

Get President Bush involved – he owes us one!    comments@whitehouse.gov

Stand up for your country, your children and your freedom – don’t sit back, shrug your shoulders and become complacent once again.

So You're in the 95% Tax Break Group

Just asking this question, because since I know there’s over 40 % of our American population that doesn’t pay taxes, it remains a mystery to me just who the 95% is that President Obama keeps talking about that’s going to get this awesome tax break he’s promised in all of his campaign speeches.

Ladies and gentlemen, you’ve just been conned by a con-man. Stupid, President Obama isn’t – many Americans have just been sucked into the vicious world of socialism. Your new leaders are going to tell you that their new economic recovery plan will take care of our recession; if you’re in the 18 to 25  group you may fall for that malarkey.

Many of us who are parents and grandparents know exactly what will happen – we’ll have to work harder, many work extra hours or get second jobs or ruthlessly cut our family budget. We, the people, will be the ones to pay for and back this economic recovery plan.

Sounds like lots of you want the “rich” people as President Obama says to get the tax gouge – now that in its self is a little more than interesting. The middleclass and poor will be the last ones on the “totem pole” and you got it – we’ll be paying for the tax increase that the “pres” has in store for investors and the businesses.

Say your next door neighbor owns auto dealership and of course you’re sitting there thinking that he will be the one to pay higher taxes and spread the wealth. Nope, gotcha again – he’ll have to raise the price of his product, which means the consumer will be the one paying for the tax increase.

Let’s think about that, especially the next time you need an automobile. Yep, your neighbor isn’t paying more taxes – its little ole you that will kick in your extra share.                                                                  Here’s exactly what will happen and our new “pres” knows how it works, but remember he’s into Socialism and he’s spreading the wealth!

Example: Once the “pres” get this tax increase in place, the car manufacturer and car dealership are both hit with higher taxes plus the steel corporations, tire manufacturers etc… So now that little economy car that should cost 17,500 has plummeted to 18,300. Who pays the taxes ladies and gentlemen – not the manufacturer or car dealership?

It appears the middleclass are getting all excited thinking they’re one of the 95% getting a tax break. The class right under the middleclass are ecstatic too, but they’re about to be gouged one more time, hope they don’t spend their 1,000 or 1200 dollar tax credit, because it’s done been gobbled up way before it reaches their back door.

In fact, once the investors and business making 200,000 or 250,000 are taxed at a higher rate, the trickle down affect kicks into action overnight. You – the consumer will cough up the tax increase for the “pres” and his cabinet and they’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.

Just remember if it sounds too good to be true – then it probably isn’t true. Welcome to the new world of “socialism.”

Americans shut their ears when they heard about the 800,000 dollar donation from President Elect Obama to Acorn. It’s true and the rest of the story is true also. The “Pres” and friends have helped themselves to millions and millions of dollars over the past 20 years via government grants and contractors.

Someone needs to check this out some day, because after the money goes from Hope, to Charity and Faith or whatever it ends up in the hands of the “Radicals.”   Did you really think it was a slip of the pocketbook when 800,000 went from Obama to Acorn?

“May God Bless America.”   See you @ http://www.yourannie.com

Fox & Townhall Bloggers

A few hours ago, I sent a blog in called A Dark Day in History to Fox, I felt raped by the Obama Gang and was having a "Pitty Party."  I know thats not an answer to our problems, so here is an idea that some of you may be interested in...  Lets set up a website for all concerned citizens that place country first.  Set up a non-profit organization that can go to the White House and stand toe to toe with anyone who is taking our "rights" from us.  If all of us only contributed $ 5.00 a month to our fund, it would grow to unbelievable proportions allowing us to send representatives from the people of the US to Washington.  I will be most happy to work 24/7 on achieving this, if you think it's probable.

There are many retired professionals out there who could speak for us and keep us united - we need to know before any bill is passed, all new government programs implemented, how to stop the bleeding from the government grants etc. that President Obama and gang are using as we speak.  We need to unite as one, regardless of party - no one on our watch should allow Nancy and Barney or President Obama to continue their hatchet party.  There has to be a way to stop all of this in a civilized manner!

At 68 years of age, I'm still a believer in honesty, trust, reliability and responsibility - that character is the person.  So give me a shout and lets get going on something positive today - I'm over my rush of feeling helpless and whipped!  Last night when I watched the polls, I realized there are thousands out in Americaland who believe in their country.  They can't be purchased for pennies on the dollar and they are ready to stand up for America.

So before I get all gushy over my latest soapbox blog - I'm signing off

Americans - Stop Pelosi, Frank, Dodd & Reid

Thanks to Lou Dobbs, you’re only a mouse click away from finding out the truth about the “Bail Out.” Don’t become complacent, throw up your arms and walk away, because the next time the Democrats play around with our money – we may well go into a “Depression.”

Could all of these men and women be wrong about the bail out plan? They know that at this very minute Pelosi, Frank, Dodd and Reid are preparing special bills to continue with the bail out. Funny thing is, they don’t even bother to ask the American people – they cockily go about their merry business covering up their previous tracks that caused this recession.

Americans need to contact their federal representatives and insist on seeing any bill drawn up by Pelosi and crew before it is passed. All of these economists sent a letter to Washington noting 3 major concerns about the bailout: (1) The fairness, (2) The ambiguity, and (3) This one is terrifying – Long term effects.

America, this is your country, your dollars and your future welfare we’re talking about – have any of you read the letter written by these professional men and women? If not go to http://loudobbs.tv.cnn.com/ then surf to the right until you reach “Bailout” and click on the letter.

This is the Obama philosophy – remember “Spread the Wealth, but First Cover Your Butt.” Get on you computer, phone or go to Washington and stop America’s bleeding – band aids are no longer in style.

The list below are economists who place country first – why not let them form a group to represent us at the White House. Put a freeze on the “Bail Out” until people who are qualified to make these economic decisions are in place. Please, don’t let America goe through round 2 and than round 3 with Pelosi, Frank, Dodd and Reid.

If nothing else, email Lou and have him help us – he’s an honest man and very, very knowledgeable.  As Always, Annie
