Mr. Acorn or Mr. Obama

Read Mr. ACORN or Mr. Obama

Americans, we’ve just been slam dunked with a “rescue” or “bail out” or whatever – and are we going to roll over and play dead, bury our head in the sand or are we going to put a stop to a “wayward” government.   Parents, grandparents and concerned citizens are you going to let the news media , special interest groups, lobbyists and foreigners select our next president ?

So, what’s done is done but two slam dunks (Bail Out & Obama) in one month will be more than a plateful ! For those who are planning to vote for Senator Obama, step back and rethink your decision. Are you really prepared to vote for a leader, whos past and present actions get conveniently relegated to the ancient history shelves? For your children and country do your homework.

Let the Democratic leaders honestly and with integrity supply the missing pieces that Mr. Obama has refused to let America see. You know there are 93 Democratic leaders out there, who are starting to worry about their Presidential Elect and obviously they are more concerned with their country than Mr. Obama.

A good question to ask the Democratic camp is how in the world they found Mr.Obama, why would they choose a leader without a good senate track record in Illinois or Washington? Didn’t they find it strange that this man exaggerates and hallucinates about his leadership abilities, that he has changed his position more than most people change their underwear in his campaign against Hillary Clinton and John McCain.

Why did the Democratic party allow this person to run for the Democratic Presidency? Probably his financial backing from the outsiders (whoever they are) influenced some of the “Elite,” but there are many Democrats who aren’t enthusiastic about his platform and the way he’s handled his campaigns.

Make four inquiries to your senators or to members of the Democratic party:

1.        Why is FEC having problems with Mr. Obama about his campaign monies – if there’s nothing to hide than give the FEC the correct information and clear his good name.

2.       Who came first “the Acorns or Mr. Obama?”

3.       Where is Mr. Obama’s Illinois Senate record, his employee record during his “Community Service” years (who were his clients, what organizations did he support and represent in the court of law?)

4.       What about his past and recent history showing obvious connections to Reverend Wright, the bobbsie twins (Gazan Brothers), Tony Rezko and their business relationship, Madeleine Talbot, Rashid Khalidi, William C. Ayers, Robert Malley and the list goes on…. Ask FEC for specifics on their recent inquiries into Obama’s campaign monies.

5.       Challenge the Democratic Camp – ask them for specifics on his past history starting with Columbia University, Senate vote history, his Illinois Senate history, his associations and connections with some pretty questionable people in foreign countries.

For those who want to conveniently sweep Senator Obama’s political history under the rug, Mr. Acorn, excuse me Senator Obama can run, but not hide his past from America for long. If you’re content to accept him with a “what you see is what you get “ attitude – then hold onto your hat, money and freedom because the next four years will be the ride of your life.

Check out David Freddoso’s book “The Case Against Barack Obama” just take a few minutes to read the part “Born Alive Infants Protection Act.”   Study the Clinton/Obama campaign – check out what Hillary and her supporters had to say about Barack Obama. If you want to get an accurate and quick update on Barack – go to Glenn Beck @ CNN.com and ask Glenn the real scoop on this man.

Obama Straddles the Fence

As Senator Obama stated in his newsletter July 2008, the American people have a right to know…   Whoa, take a minute to read his entire newsletter from cover to cover. Then in order to put this newsletter into perspective, take a peek at Senator Obama’s actual track record in the Senate. Go to the United States Senate: Senators Home

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the Senator chose to sit on the fence for months at a time without casting a vote. One thing for sure you can keep your track record pretty clean if you don’t participate, or can you?

When Senator Obama discusses his concern for the “middle class” – it becomes a little confusing, because those free “fuzzies” he’s throwing to us in his campaign speeches aren’t quite adding up.

He refers to the “middle class” like we are some little waifs on the street corner waiting for a handout. Here’s a news flash to Republicans and Democrats, “Americans aren’t asking for a free ride; but we don’t want to be the good guys to rescue the crooks any longer.”

His speeches in Colorado Tuesday talked about 50 billion dollars would be used to jump start the economy and earlier the same day it was announced that the US Government was bailing out AIG to the tune of 85 billion dollars. Just exactly where does Mr.Obama think that 50 billion dollars for a jump start is hiding?

It’s obvious that “words” aren’t only cheap; sometimes they’re down right nonsensical. Americans are struggling and trying to make sense out of Senator Obama’s many promises and his feeble explanation about leadership. If he couldn’t be a stand up leader in the Senate and his greatest concern is Sarah Palin, why does he think he’s got the credentials to lead our Nation?

Everyone is listening to his campaign speeches, because that’s what Americans do the last 6 weeks before the Presidential Election. We’re spending all of our time sifting through the political maize trying to determine who he really is and what he might stand for…

According to Webster, “A leader is a person that leads, directs, commands and is a guiding hand.” So my question is this, “when, where and how did Senator Obama master the art of leadership?”

His track record in the Senate indicates more no shows, but he wasn’t worried because his Democratic friends were managing the Senate. The few times he did vote certainly didn’t indicate any concern, respect and love for the American people.

Please don’t take my word for anything, go to the webpage, “US Senate: Senators Home” and find out the truth for yourself.  Senator Obama’s newsletter would make one think he made “senator of the year” in 2007 & 2008, but on close examination you probably will wonder why Illinois even kept him around.

Get an accurate picture of who this man really is and what he does or doesn’t stand for in the scheme of things. As I said, he was missing in action a large part of the time, but below are just a few of the things that he voted against in his short interim as Senator.

Before we go any further, read about the bill on 3/14/08 that was placed before the Senate to codify the unborn child regulation. For more on this go to Glenn Beck on CNN and remember that Senator Obama voted a big “Nay” on this bill.

What you’ll read is very graphic and quite sad to think that babies are just left to die with only their little blanket for comfort. There’s probably going to be an influx of people who finally have the nerve to step forward and share this story! Let’s dissect his performance during his short interim as Senator, I believe you’ll find a big “nay” on codifying the unborn child regulation..

Senator Obama didn’t considered improving access to affordable health care for all as important and he didn’t see any reason to require appropriate qualifications for interim US attorneys. Guess, it’s best not to step on any toes if you’re trying to win the Presidential Election – just don’t do anything to ruffle feathers Mr. Obama.

He wasn’t much interested in increasing the Federal minimum wage either and than why should he care if our college graduates are unable to find jobs - any little perk would have been most appreciated by them and the young middle class community.

Without boring you, study this bill that was to strengthen the Federal Government’s ability to detain dangerous criminal aliens, including murderers, rapists, and child molesters, until they can be removed from the United States, to prohibit the rewarding of suicide bombs and allow adequate punishments for terrorists murders, kidnappings, and sexual assaults, and for other purposes – you got it, once again he voted a big “Nay” on this bill!

He wasn’t interested in helping small businesses, ranches and farms by providing them with a tax exemption nor did he consider protecting the families' budget from runaway government spending or providing a point of order against legislation the increases income taxes on taxpayers, which includes the entrepreneurs, college crowd and middle class – income families.

As you continue doing your homework, you’ll discover that Senator Obama even voted against paying down the government debt and reducing the government waste on antiquated mandated programs that aren’t working.

Senior citizens, middle class and concerned citizens go to 3/13/08 and see what this Senator is all about – the bill that he voted against will astound you! On the Amendment S.Amdt. 4170 to S.Con.Res. 70 (No short title on file)

Just what year did Senator Obama plan on becoming a leader who really cares about the people?

What the Democrats have in their camp is an eloquent speaker, who has a great way with words and no doubt has a great speech writer in his hip pocket and a teleprompter under his coat tails. The difficult times the past couple of years obviously should have been  the time that Senator Obama had the opportunity to support real “change.”

Instead of taking action and leading, he opted to continue straddling the fence hoping from all outward appearance that Americans would perceive him as a Senator with a strong track record.

Our country really doesn’t need a bird watcher, who can’t make definitive decisions or stand hard on issues and legislation that is critical to the recovery of our faltering United States of America. We need “leaders not followers.”

Our Nation has two leaders, Senator John Mc Cain & Governor Sarah Palin who will carefully guide our country thru the hard times – check the “mavericks” out. They love their country, their fellow citizens and most of all they want to place our Nation back on a strong foundation for our children and our children’s children.

Americans, you’re intelligent hard working citizens with good minds and the ability to learn the truth. Voting is not only our rights as an adult citizen of the United States of American; it is a responsibility! Great job Sarah – our mavericks definitely place country “first!”

Senator Biden - Who

2008 finds most Americans spending their time trying to maintain some semblance of order in their family household due to the stress of high fuel prices, a weak economy and the meddlers, peddlers and gov.

Meddlers meaning the special interest groups, lobbyists and the corporate clan. Peddlers refer to our news media that choose to blindside us and give us trickle down information in order to extract a specific response. The Gov, oh well do I need to say anymore on that one?

Few of us have time to really sift thru the political muck to find out the real truth, but before the Presidential Election we need to get involved as individuals, once again become the “Voice of America.”

Take a look at a Joe Bidens’s track record – you can do this with ease by going to projects.washingtonpost.com and stay in touch with NewsMax. If you don’t have time, than take a glance at some of his voting record in the next few paragraphs.

Remember, his campaign speeches are stuffed full of rock throwing and off the wall gibberish, because what he is saying certainly doesn’t match up to his voting record in the Senate. Who is this man and does he really place his country first in the scheme of things of is he on a personal mission?

Mr. Biden didn’t think the college students and lower middle class needed any assistance so he voted a big no as you can see below.

Vote 25: On the Motion: Motion to Waive Re: DeMint Amdt. No. 158; To increase the Federal minimum wage by an amount that is based on applicable State minimum wages.

Senator Biden wants no part of monitoring wasteful spending nor does he want his friends who lobby for him or his son to have to worry about compliance. Neither, he or his Democratic friends want to address the earmark problem – check closely and you’ll see he just passed on voting and let the Democrats take care of the bill, which they did!

Check out:

Vote 9: S 1: Vitter Amdt. No. 10; To increase the penalty for failure to comply with lobbying disclosure requirements.

Vote 142: S 761: DeMint Amdt. No. 930; To prohibit congressional earmarks of funds appropriated pursuant to No authorizations in the bill   Not VOTING    No - by the Democrats

Vote 9: S 1: Vitter Amdt. No. 10; To increase the penalty for failure to comply with lobbying disclosure requirements.

Vote 142: S 761: DeMint Amdt. No. 930; To prohibit congressional earmarks of funds appropriated pursuant to  Noauthorizations in the bill   Not VOTING    No Democrats

Check this bill out, Vote 121: H R 1591: Coburn Amdt. No. 648; To remove $100 million in funding for the Republican and Democrat party conventions in 2008.

This bill was initiated to help those of us whose tax money is being recklessly tossed around at the Republic and Democratic Conventions. So far, Senator Biden appears to be scoring minus 7 or 8,  he just doesn’t get it, or does he?

Is Senator Biden really placing country first, don’t think so – he voted nofor an extension of the income tax rate structure that protects nearly 28,000,000 families and individuals, including small business owners – and what is he actually saying in his campaign speeches?

He voted noon the bill to improve the economy efficiency, and effectiveness of Federal programs and reduce the Federal debt by eliminating waste, fraud and abuse. Along with that he gave the “Nay” on the bill that was meant to establish a reserve fund for protecting coverage choices, additional benefits, and lower cost-sharing for Medicare beneficiaries.

This is your dad, mom, grandparents and elderly citizens that he’s ignoring and someday you’ll be one of the seniors, so you need to take a long hard look at how the Democratic VP elect is voting.

It’s your right to vote as a citizen of the United States. Along with that “right” comes a responsibility of knowing exactly what kind of man or woman you’re selecting to lead our country. We need leaders – not followers!

A good leader will stand toe to toe with the meddlers, peddlers & gov and with the help of parents, grandparents and concerned citizens restore our Nations weak foundation. It’s time for our voices to be heard – let’s not settle for trickle down propaganda, lies or idle promises!

Don’t settle for chewed up regurgitated news, drag yourselves away from the TV, Newspapers and blackberries and do our homework. Go to projects.washingtonpost.comand get the real scoop – thank goodness the Washington Post offers an easy way to study the bills that have gone thru the Senate, because the government sites are difficult to find out the “real news.” (I wonder why?)

Take a minute to study a few more bills that Senator Biden voted “No” on and decide if this is truly the man for the Vice Presidency. As a mother of 4 and grandmother of 7 – he certainly doesn’t have a track record that protects my country, children and my children’s children.

Vote 102: S CON RES 21: Kyl Amdt. No. 583; To reform the death tax by setting the exemption at $5 million per estate, indexed for inflation, and the top death tax rate at no more than 35% beginning in 2010; to avoid subjecting an estimated 119,200 families, family businesses, and family farms to the death tax each and every year; to promote continued economic growth and job creation; and to make the enhanced teacher deduction permanent.   “No”

Vote 82: S CON RES 70: DeMint Amdt. No. 4339; To provide for a deficit-neutral reserve fund for providing an above the line Federal income tax deduction for individuals purchasing health insurance outside the workplace.   “No”

Vote 81: S CON RES 70: Allard Amdt. No. 4233; To require that legislation to reauthorize SCHIP include provisions codifying the unborn child regulation.

Vote 77: S CON RES 70: Kyl Amdt. No. 4372; To protect small businesses, family ranches and farms from the Death Tax by providing a $5 million exemption, a low rate for smaller estates and a maximum rate no higher than 35%.

Vote 74: S CON RES 70: Kyl Amdt. No. 4348; To provide certainty to taxpayers by extending expiring tax provisions such as the R&D Tax Credit that helps US companies innovate, combat pay exclusion for our soldiers in the field, the education deduction to make colleges more affordable and the alternative energy incentives to make the environment cleaner through the end of 2009.

Vote 73: On the Motion: Motion to Waive C.B.A. Cornyn Amdt. No. 4313; To protect the family budget from runaway Government spending by increasing the number of Senators necessary to waive the PAYGO Point of Order from 60 to 100.

Vote 67: S CON RES 70: Brownback Amdt. No. 4284; To provide funds for a Commission on Budgetary Accountability and Review of Federal Agencies.

Vote 66: S CON RES 70: Allard Amdt. No. 4232; To pay down the Federal debt and eliminate government waste by reducing spending 5 percent on programs rated (as mandated under the Government Performance and Results Act (Public Law 103-62)) ineffective by the Office of Management and Budget Program Assessment Rating Tool.

Vote 56: S CON RES 70: Alexander Amdt. No. 4207 as Modified; To establish a deficit-neutral reserve fund to improve energy efficiency and production.

You’ve heard me say, words are cheap and often times nothing but idle rhetoric – so the next time you tune into one of Senator Biden’s political speeches consider reading between the lines, because what he says and what he does are two entirely different formats.

John Mc Cain places country first! He wants to restore our Nation’s once strong foundation and he will stand toe to toe with the meddlers, peddlers and the gov.

Sarah Palin is the lady who cares about our children and their children. She is one of us and understands the struggles and problems that parents, grandparents and concerned citizens are facing.

Don’t just consider the two mavericks, vote for them on November 4th and help them restore our Nation and leave our children a legacy that will make headlines in our History books.
