These money transfusions and exploratory surgery that Paulson, Pelosi, Dodd, Reid and buddies are performing will result in a depression, if someone doesn’t get a handle on our government. Americans have to speak up it’s our country, families and future that we we’re fighting for at this time. What will our children and their children do if we don’t fix this mess?
What if we charged Uncle Sam a very high interest fee on our money that is being so freely passed out to those who were mismanaging their business? In other words, we don’t have to ask permission just do it, that’s what Paulson and cohorts do…
We get a wake up call that Bear Stearns is in deep doo doo and needs to borrow a few bucks from us – believe the rounded out amount totaled 29 billion and change. Don’t remember being told when this money will be paid back, at what interest rate and when taxpayers can expect a check?
One day we wake up and we’re told that Fannie & Freddie have a severe case of fraudulent spending and are in debt up to their armpits. The next thing we know Americans are bailing out these “pet government” projects and we’re not happy campers, but starting to adjust to the idea that we’re not in control – our voice has been lost and guess what we’re going to work once again for Uncle Sam like it or not.
Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, it did. Those shysters in the White House are once again crying doom and gloom saying either kick in some more money and bailout AIG or else?????
So we did and then we did it again and don’t be surprised if AIG doesn’t bring their tin bucket begging for even more than their 85 billion.
By golly, don’t forget the Big 3 – they’ll be back hitch hiking or via bus, train or airplane, but no private jets. Why have the Big 3 been singled out and like Palin made fun of and ridiculed – AIG and the other lending institutions aren’t exactly the “Better than thou” model of honest business practices. Just who is it playing “God” in the White House deciding who will and who won’t receive a money transfusion?
Many banks are standing in line behind Citi Bank and of course non-financial institutions will follow shortly thereafter… So maybe we the people of the United States of America could have our voice heard or at least our presence felt if we had our employers divert our money paid for taxes back into our pockets.
At least this would be one way to insure that the money we’re loaning comes back to the “lender.” Americans need to join hands, unite and stop our run away government! “May God Bless Each and Everyone.”
Very seldom do I give my personal email out, but tonight seems like the time to ask my readers to contact me with their thoughts and ideas. anniewood1@netzero.net
